June Was a Banner Month for the SBA Franchise Registry

With 86 renewals and 36 new applications determined, June was one of the busiest months in its 10 year history for the SBA Franchise Registry. This high level of activity was caused by a combination of a high number of renewal applications coming in during the same period as many new applicants.

The Franchise Registry is the online listing of franchise systems whose franchisees receive expedited loan processing when applying for financial assistance from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

"Franchisors, and more importantly their franchisees, see the value of having their franchise system listed on the SBA Franchise Registry," said Darrell Johnson, President, FRANdata. "Listing on the Registry along with other financing assistance can really help a franchise system to grow."

*** The listing for Cici's Pizza has the following footnote: "10 year term – not renewable"

**** The listings for Ageless Remedies and for Facelogic have the following footnote: "The franchisee must submit an affidavit that men and women are allowed to use the facility; additionally, the franchisee must submit its layout to show two bathrooms/changing rooms"

***** The listings for Aurelio's Pizza, Hardware Hank, Monster Mini Golf, Red Carpet Inn, Scottish Inns, and Truly Nolen all have the following footnote: "The term is 5 years, with renewals"
