Eighty-Five (85) brands renewed their Franchise Registry listing and another 35 were approved for the first time in July and August of 2007. The Franchise Registry is the online listing of franchise systems whose franchisees receive expedited loan processing when applying for financial assistance from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). ** The listing for Butterfly Life, Contours Express, Suddenly Slender and The Woodhouse Day Spa has the following footnote: "the franchisee must submit an affidavit that men and women are allowed to use the facility, additionally, the franchisee must submit its layout to show two bathrooms/changing rooms"

*** The listing for Dairy Queen (of New Jersey) has the following footnotes: "The franchise system only covers New Jersey" and "The term of the franchise is the shorter of 20 years or the rest of the term of an existing lease"
