Wanted: Franchisee Prospects
This is the bottom line, right? You want to put your opportunity in front of prospective franchisees. You attend the shows, you use online lead generations services, and you advertise in the trade magazines. Now you are ready to try some direct mail or outbound calling campaigns. Here are some ideas to consider:
- Is your best prospect already a franchisee? If so, are they a small business owner with less than 5 units, or are they a big investment groups, involved in several systems with 50 or more units?
- What industries are they in already? Will your best prospects already be involved in the food business? Or in the automotive business? Do they own gas stations or convenience stores?
- Which systems are they in already? You have a profile of a franchisee, so do other systems – do other systems franchisee profiles match your own?
- Where are they located? You're only selling in certain markets, so you can exclude some parts of the country. Or can you?
