The Fastest Growing, Young Franchise Systems
The March issues of Franchise Times contains the annual Fast 55 list of the fastest growing young franchise systems. This is the list of systems that have been franchising for 5 years or less but have grown each of those years and is based on FRANdata's database of franchise information.
These franchise systems are excellent candidates for vendors of all kinds who want to get in on the ground floor as required suppliers. To help you reach the decision makers at these companies, we are offering two(2) lists, the FAST55 Franchisee Contacts and the FAST55 Franchisor Executives.
Highlighted Selects
Multi-Unit Franchisees with 10+ Units
The franchisee database currently identifies 1,600 multi-unit franchisees with 10+ units. This includes all the big names such as Aramark, HMS Host, Pilot Travel Centers - in fact all the people we hope to see at the upcoming Multi-Unit Franchising Conference. This list (and all lists) includes phone numbers and contacts whenever available.

Franchisor Real Estate/Site/Construction Contacts
If you are in the real estate game, this extremely targeted list will put you in touch with 391 executives at 240 different franchise systems who deal directly with real estate, site selection, and/or unit construction.

Lodging Franchisees
Lodging Franchisees are usually corporate interests with a big bank roll. These franchisees are excellent candidates for vendors, particularly vendors who can help them with their regular upgrades or with maintaining their large staffs, as well as for franchise development possibilities since many of these franchisees look at investing in other systems that may be in or near their hotels. There are currently 11,091 lodging franchisees, 9,749 own only 1 hotel and 1,342 who are multi-unit operators.

Midwest Food Franchisees
Though Wikipedia points out that technically speaking, the midwest states are "neither the middle nor the west of the United States", we have gone ahead and run a list made up of food franchisees with units in any one of IL, IN, IA, KS, MI, MN, MS, NE, ND, OH, SD, and WI. The numbers: 11,728 franchisees in total - 7,408 single unit, 4,320 multi-unit, in at least one of 198 different systems.
